On the Go, Go, Go

Ladies, you know those days where you have a million plus one errands to do and all you want to do is be comfortable yet not resort to sweats and sneakers? Yeah, we all have those days- myself included!

I’ll tell ya, an easy and comfy shift dress is one of the easiest pieces to work with. For example, I wore some Adidas shell tops with some silver hoops and a messy bun for a more sporty and casual look. Or, opt for the more chic-er version with flats and an on-the-go cross body!

naturalizer flatsWhen I saw these shoes at Sally’s, a was a bit hesitant but something about them kept pulling me in. Isn’t it weird how shoes can have a way of doing that to a girl? But there’s something different about them; maybe it’s the cross between grandma flats and my old black patent tap shoes that also had a buckle go across- I don’t know! But I figured these would be perfect for a day I don’t feel like wearing heels to the office πŸ™‚

Not a major fan of designer purses, tbh. My aunt actually gifted this to me a few years ago and this is the first time I’m wearing it out. But you can’t go wrong with a cross body purse when you’re running around! Who’s with me??

I hope you’re all having an amazing day so far! Can you do me a favor? Place your hand over your heart, breathe in and out, and verbally say, “I’m alive, I’m breathing, and living. I’m grateful.” This world’s not perfect, but we can always make the best of it. Live on!

Reasons why I love these pants: 1) they basically have every color of the rainbow so it’s easy to pair with just about any solid-colored top, 2). they are incredibly comfy and light, perfect for the spring and summer, 3) they’re a great alternative to leggings and yoga pants that we’ve been hoarding all fall and winter long, and 4) they are from the Philippines from my beloved Lola for only PHP 50 or $1!

It honestly doesn’t get any better when your entire look is less than $30, am I right girlfriends? Which in this case this outfit was a whole whopping $26! You don’t have to break the bank to achieve a fashionable wardrobe. Just a little patience at the thrift stores and sifting through sale racks can go a long way.

Tribal Thanksgiving

Jireh De Jose fashion meets God billabong sweater Forever 21 necklace tribal print sweater Charlotte Russe shoesHello! How was your Thanksgiving? Anyone still going strong on leftovers?

*Clap clap clap* to the weather this past weekend! It was definitely something to be thankful for; I took advantage of the warmer temperatures by taking some look shots on Thanksgiving! I’ve already outworn this sweater this fall- it is incredibly comfy and less than $10 from Sal Val. Jeans are typically the familiar go-to for these oversize sweaters but because of the holiday, I decided to dress up a bit more with a dress, tights, and these Charlotte Russe booties. Taking a break from black tights and boots and sporting more fall-toned colors such as burgundy and brown is refreshing!

Hope your week starts off with hope and excitement! Another Monday is still another opportunity to do life right. Live it.
