I just came back from the Philippines and editing this vlog made me miss it so much! It was a great three weeks reconnecting with my family almost 24/7, haha. The three weeks also consisted of shopping, massages, church, eating (and lots of it), kickin’ it at the house, and repeat. Getting the chance to visit my dad’s side of the family in Kalibo, Aklan was so fun, too, especially since we went during Balete’s fiesta day. Anyways, let the vlog speak for itself! I hope you enjoy!
You know what word God placed in my heart coming into 2015? “Breakthrough.” I didn’t know what that meant or what would become of that at the time, obviously, but as 2015 is now coming to an end, I can see why He made that my year’s theme. It’s funny, I thought the summer of mission trips was the breakthrough until He kept revealing more– working in the financial industry. HAH! Still blows my mind.
As I look through fashion meets God’s stats for 2015, I cannot believe the blog has been viewed 17,000 times in 126 countries! How incredible is that?! Although I’m not surprised as to what posts made the top 10 list; 6 out of 10 were GUEST FEATURES. These were some of the funnest blog posts because I had the opportunity to meet and interview incredible people God is using all over the world. Without further a do, here’s the Top 10!
“I encourage you to follow them on Twitter and Instagram because in the mist of negativity and dark influence across social media it’s nice to be reminded of God’s grace and your life’s purpose with help representing His Light.” (Read More)
“That weekend and following Monday taught me so many life lessons and I encountered Jesus in a way like none other before. I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to know a person that put others before herself as she did and was at peace and spread joy throughout her battle.” (Read More)
“If there’s one thing to say about an inner city where people think that there’s no hope- there’s always hope. As long as we’re serving a good God, a living God, there’s always hope…There’s never a moment where there’s no hope. There’s always hope in the root of all the mess. There’s hope everywhere and hope happens here.” – Tay Copeland (Read More)
07. The Interns
“We are the three girls at the office clicking in heels and laughing (mainly due to slap happiness of lack of sleep from our graduation show) while trying to digest our eight hour training lectures of all things Forever 21. I have been a loyal customer to F21 since I was 14 and now I’m so blessed to have this opportunity to intern for them. It’s only been three days and I am already enjoying it.” (P.S. This post is from 2012!) (Read More)
“You are made in His image; God doesn’t make mistakes. What Satan intended for bad, God will restore that brokenness, breathe new life into you, and break any addictions. You are worthy of it all. Don’t give up!” – Aisha Diaz (Read More)
“There’s nothing like traveling to another country, laying your hand on the sick, the poor, and the children who just need care and prayers. Who just need to know that there is someone out there that sees their soul and shows compassion to them. And that’s what I believe God has called me to do- to serve Him beyond the Internet and love on His people in these locations.” (Read More)
“Whether it be through the avenue of writing, speaking, missions work, or music, we as believers have a mandate to preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15)” – Amy Basel (Read More)
“These talents I hold are not mine, for they are a gift from God. I glorify Him through every stitch.” – Brandie Rose Ribeiro (Read More)
“He has done a lot of work in not only my life, but in my heart. He has broken me down to build me up even stronger. And I find that that cycle keeps happening, which I am totally fine with as long as He keeps revealing Himself to me (which I know He will).” – Janeleen Suarez (Read More)

And that’s it! Thank you so much for ALL of your support, especially this year. To those who have supported me through my mission trips financially and/or through prayer and continue to follow the journey from California and back- from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I have met so many amazing, beautiful, and talented people who I can call as lifetime friends. Every opportunity and every post God has led me to write on fmG within the past 365 days has all been for Him. Without Him, I did and was nothing. Through His provision, it has officially been the best year of my life and I can’t even begin to imagine what 2016 will look like. I’m ready for even more of a breakthrough. How about you?
Have a great and safe New Year’s Eve, y’all. Until “next year!”
“The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
– Lamentations 3:22-24
The final video for #JirehForFour! *tear* It’s been such a good run, I still don’t want it to end, but some good things must come to an end and I’m just incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord worldwide and that He allowed me to tap into the hearts of so many people and bring hope, encouragement, and love. The thought and fact that people heard the Gospel and accepted Jesus into their hearts still blows me away. Hope you enjoy this last video with some new footage! Thank you again for all your support! It surely did not go to waste and your investment goes beyond this time on earth but into eternity. May you be blessed tenfold!
Be on the lookout for new posts, too! Will be back to posting on fmG regularly 🙂 XOXO
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!”

Can’t believe it’s almost been four weeks since #JirehForFour began! Hope you enjoy this week’s video!
Art in Island, the Philippines’ latest interactive museum, is not only dubbed as the world’s largest 3D art exhibit but a Filipino’s selfie dream. Seriously. Once you enter a painted golden archway, you’ll immediately pull out your phones and cameras for the next 2-3 hours. I originally envisioned a huge room of two or three displays within a wall but I was wrong. Almost every 3D painting flows into the next, therefore, hallways upon hallways and rooms with elevated ceilings are covered with detailed adaptations from artists over the centuries which are made in such a way attendees are really a part of the art.
