Top & shorts: Salvation Army • Fitted hat: Greenhills (Philippines) • Necklace: Quiapo, Philippines • Shoes: Value World

I’ve been wanting to do this to a white garment for some time now and these shorts were my first prospect. All I used was a paint brush and Tulip fabric paint then “splated” away. Meeeeep. I love how they turned out! My little brother helped me with the front and when he took full reins on the back, he definitely put his full art painting potential to use. Can you tell?

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:4)

Top: Op • Overalls: Old Navy (Salvation Army) • Shoes: Adidas • Fitted hat: Greenhills (Philippines)

1. This necklace was gifted from one of my Aunties. Currently one of my favorite pieces!

2. Top bought at a Wal-Mart in VA while the Miley & Max line was ongoing. Who remembers that?

3. Socks were tie-dyed for a dance performance in high school (way back when) although it looks like a laundry incident now.

4. Shoes were gifted from my kuya when he lived in China. It came with a matching sweatsuit. Ohhhh yeah.

5. Clearly my report for Detroit Fashion News last week became the inspiration for this look.

And this guy:

One of the best shows to ever air on TV. Hands down.

Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” (James 1:17)

Scrub Day

Top and skirt: Ukay Ukay ~ Bracelet: Greenhills ~ Earrings: Quiapo

I went to my first ever Ukay a few weeks ago! Ukay is like the Salvation Army/Goodwill of the Philippines. Ummmm…definite love. This was the morning of my cousin’s wedding so it was super chill, hence my super relax outfit, but I just HAD to share my score with this Ukay shirt! I love the lace detail that runs across the back! 😀 So if you want to spruce up comfy outfit, wear a piece that’s detailed which won’t give off a major “scrub day” vibe. Until next time!

Long Lost Sisters

Greenhills top ~ thrifted skirt and scarf ~ Manic Shoes flats ~ Tesoro earrings

Two weekends ago, my friend Elaine and her husband from Michigan visited us! They stayed over for three days and it was just way too short. She is honestly like my other half! We spent the weekend shopping, eating, making/watching YouTube videos, and chatting; literally about 80% of our conversations were about makeup, YouTube gurus, and fashion. So on Saturday we went to Greenhills and after we got our hair done, we TORE UP the tiangge RTW area. We bought these matching shirts for PHP 150 then wore them to church the next day with our own different styling. She also bought accessories similar to what I have so I did a quick change- twins! 😀

I mish you!

Watch out for our haul and “Get Your Freak On” tag videos coming soon!

Lastly! My barangay is holding a Christmas Bazaar/Garage Sale tomorrow, Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9:30-5:30. I’ll be selling all things girly, so please stop by! 🙂
