Dominican Republic Dreamin’: What I Miss the Most

The Dominican Republic will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only because it was my first country I went on a missions trip to or that I had my amazing first experience in jewelry and visual merchandising at 16 years oldย or that my uncle’s house is literally like paradise, but it’s the friendships and the people that I’ve had the blessing of getting to know. Many of which I still stay in contact with today. I never expected to meet such wonderful people; I just thought I would be in-and-out of a country my relatives had a connection with. But as you can see in the above photo, my face wasn’t red because I got burnt from the sun! No, those were tears on my last night with my newfound friends.
