Hey guys! So I know these DR posts seem endless (because they kind of actually are) but there was so much work behind the scenes of all these shoots and videos that not posting them would be a complete shame. So here’s another one with my newest Dominican friend, Genisis!
God really provides in such unexpected ways which was so evident during this photoshoot. My auntie and I were still trying to find an extra model for a HARRISON’s Fine Caribbean Jewelers photoshoot, so we reached out to a friend’s friend and asked if she was available to shoot that same day. Within a few hours, she was at our house getting her makeup done! Genisis was such a gem since the very beginning. She was such a ball of energy and light- just the cutest little thing! Best part of this whole ordeal was the start of a new international friendship. Thanks, God.
We shot in Puerto Plata’s little downtown which was incredibly Instagrammable. Candy-colored buildings everywhere made it SO Instagram worthy! We hopped from storefront to storefront laughing and smiling the entire way with all our HARRISON’s jewelry. No, really. Our jaws hurt that night!
One thing I really love about HARRISON’s is that it’s fit for any age. I’ll admit, when I was 16 and had my first HARRISON’s experience, I thought to myself that the jewelry are only for boho baby boomer tourists. But now, especially after this latest trip, there’s something for EVERYONE. The designs aren’t limited to any specific generation. And I find it very cool that even us millennials here can wear them and have a grand ol’ time skipping around town having a ball!
Thanks again, Genisis, for an unforgettable time! We loved getting to know you and your town even more!
