Flattering Forever (21)

forever 21 dress

Although it’s August and fall is quickly approaching, this month never fails to bring on the highest temperatures that make summer seem like it will last forever. Unfortunately since that’s not the case in Michigan, we make do of what we can before the days of frigid cold, icy roads, and entrapped in snow come to be. That means taking the boat out a few more times, throwing one more family barbecue, or simply wearing your favorite summer dress. jireh de jose-4

While some people brag on what they bought from a high end store with a designer name, my family and I brag on who found the cutest and cheapest things from the thrift store. Seriously. But it’s so fun! For example, I found this A-line dress that still had a price tag and it’s from Forever 21! How much? $9.99!

aztec print dress

I’ve obviously come to love this style of dress (note my post two days ago), since it’s so flattering because it gives the hourglass shape. Plus, the colorful Aztec print is an added bonus!

Strappy kitten heels. Not quite sure if they’re trending in the shoe world currently (I don’t follow that many trends anyways), but I figured they have been a classic for decades and typically in the world of fashion… why the heck not?!

In other news…

I have BIG NEWS!!! And I can’t wait to share it with you all soon! But for now, let me just say that God will always provide. It may not come in the timing you desire or in the way you specifically asked for, but He will ALWAYS come through. I don’t know the hurt, doubt, or worry, that’s shuffled in the back of your mind as you read this fashion post, but have hope because He is not done with you yet. Prepare yourself, dear, you’ve got great things ahead.
