Coachella Goes Thai

If you were to ask me what the line up is for Coachella, I couldn’t tell you. But when it comes to the festival’s fashion, I’m all on it! In previous years layers of fringe, daisy dukes, floral headbands, and Native American derived accessories seemed to be all the rage and while they’re still around, there’s been a massive India influence such as stick-on face jewels and bindis, coined ankle bracelets, and even kaftans. You can thank Vanessa Hudgens for that one.

Would you believe that this tunic was only $1 in Thailand?? Why did I only get one?! This dress is super comfortable and breezy. Its lightweight fabric was perfect for this past weekend’s sunny weekend here in Michigan and was worn a number of ways. I literally wore it while running errands in the afternoon, to church at night (with black leggings), then for a night on the town with my best friends. You can wear yours to the next summer concert or throw it over your bathing suit; you’d be surprised how many ways you can wear it!

Not to mention this is incredibly easy to make. Seriously. It’s basically a square with seams on the side with a V-neckline! Hmmm, maybe I’ll do a DIY… thoughts?

What would you wear to Coachella?

Until next time!

“In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.”
