Wearing the Gospel in NYC

minimalistic fashion central park new york city fashion meets God new york city fountain gospel necklace

Greetings from New York City!

This has got to be the most minimalistic outfit on fmG- ever. No crazy prints, colors, or cuts. Just your basic denim skinny jeans and the most comfortable billowing red, chiffon top. These Rue 21 sandals are so worn out over these past few months as the gold embellishments are falling off (huhu), but surprisingly they still receive compliments so I just can’t seem to let go of them yet. I also love a good snap back but I find this whole sporty trend inclusive of the classic baseball caps so casually cute!

But the main accessory is this necklace from my friend of the faith-based accessory brand, Treasure 31. It’s the Wordless Book but in necklace form. How cool is that? You can literally wear the Gospel around and share Jesus. Can’t get any better than that! Thanks, Hanna, for gifting me with your handmade jewelry!

Treasure 31 Proverbs 31-30

Here are a few more photos + captions from our time in “New York! Concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there’s nothing you can’t do.” (So incredibly cliché and lame, I know.) See you on the west coast!

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”
– Romans 1:16
