Hi everyone! How was your weekend?
What did I do on my Saturday night you ask? I spent it with an auditorium full of 8-12-year-old girls on fire for Jesus. It was pretty incredible.
Secret Keeper Girl Crazy Hair Tour (SKGCHT), created by Dannah Gresh, is a mother-daughter stage show that teaches young ladies how to be a light in a fallen world, true beauty and how to love themselves despite what they or others might think, and living a life of purity because of the God that loves and lives inside of them. Whether it’s through a skit, an interactive activity, a wild hair and modesty fashion show, or worship, these girls (and their hairstyles) were crazy- crazy for Jesus!
I so wish I experienced this with my mom when I was younger. And that was one of the best sights to see- mothers and their daughters bonding over the Word while a parent was holding them in their arms, giving kisses on their foreheads, taking shining selfies on their phones, or in prayer. So powerful and heart-warming. So thankful for Dannah Gresh and her unique ministry that is so desperately needed in today’s culture. Make sure to check out SKGCHT online and see if there is a show coming near you!
“If I acted crazy, I did it for God;…Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.” – 2 Corinthians 5:13,14 (MSG)
