One of fashion meets God’s goals for 2015 is to connect and network more with women globally. Over the past few months I’ve researched and discovered that there is a great effort of female leaders collaborating to help inspire and lead women to reach their fullest potential. Whether it be a tweet, an Instagram post, a blog, or a community event taking place, these ladies are shaping the way women can make a difference wherever and whatever industry they are in.
I encourage you to follow them on Twitter and Instagram because in the mist of negativity and dark influence across social media it’s nice to be reminded of God’s grace and your life’s purpose with help representing His Light.
Let’s get started!
Propel was just launched this January and is already activating and encouraging women on a mission. According to its co-founder, Christine Caine, Propel‘s mission and vision is “helping women internalize a leadership identity and to fulfill their purpose, passion, and potential.” You can also subscribe and download their free magazine, Propel Magazine.
IF: Gathering exists to “gather, equip, and unleash the next generation of women to to live out their purpose.” The three-part vision includes: IF: Gather (a 2-day gathering), IF: Equip (a Bible reading plan), and IF: Unleash (partnering with non-profits and giving back). They also consist of a board of leaders including founder Jennie Allen, Lauren Chandler, Melissa Greene, Jen Hatmaker, and Shelley Giglio.
Quite Women Co. has really encouraged me through their IG posts that I constantly rave about! Consisting of a beautiful team of contributors, Quite Women Co. embraces the community of Christian women. They provide daily encouragement, devotionals (Her Binder Project), and plan to hold their first conference this September 5-7 in Dallas, Texas.
She Reads Truth is a Bible-based destination both online and in-app to gather those who want to read and study God’s Word together. You can view past plans, subscribe to devotionals via email, and share what you’re learning through #shereadstruth.
Tirzah Magazine is my most recent discovery and I love how relatable all their posts are. There’s something for every walk of life. Their “Prayer Wall” also caught my attention- it’s awesome to have the opportunity to pray specifically for people all over the world!
Unlike the above websites, The Full-time Girl is a one woman blog created by Lauren DeMoss. I found her on IG and admire her huge heart for Christ. She tells is like it is and isn’t afraid to say it. Her courage is contagious!
I pray these resources from these amazing women are helpful in your walk with the Lord and that you are revitalized in whatever your God-given mission in life is! And if you know of any inspiring sites, please let me know!
Until next time!
“Rest assured we don’t need to be perfect to please God. We just have to desire to please Him and act on that desire.”
– Lauren DeMoss
