Outerwear is something I tend to overlook. In Michigan, you only wear it for a season, although it’s the longest, take it off once you’re inside, and…done! That’s probably why my former was a red peacoat that I wore every winter in the mitt for since high school and didn’t bother to purchase a new one until I saw this 100% wool coat at a thrift store for only $20. Long silhouettes have been very popular this season with neutral colors from off white to camel and helps elongate your figure. Just goes to show you don’t have to settle for marshmallow puff jackets (all the time)!

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.”
– Psalm 34:17-20
