Two weeks ago I flew down to Florida to watch my wonderful college friend/dance twin/accountability partner leave her life of being a single woman and enter marriage with her best friend. Weeks before the wedding she told me her theme was bohemian and I immediately pictured simple neutrals and dark earth tones with splashes of rosy pinks, turquoise, and warm oranges but I was pleasantly delighted to see the outcome as we finished setting up on the big day.
The venue’s ethereal setting was filled with laced dream catchers, white Baby’s Breath, carnations, and roses with a touch of fresh ferns. Her color palette of white and delicate creams with nature’s green was simplicity at its finest. Even her dress represented modest chic and pureness.
Silhouettes of clean white and bare neutrals are surely making a comeback this spring. Dare I say, sometimes you don’t need a plethora of prints and crazy colors to make a statement! Check out my Pinterest board for some minimalistic inspiration here:
