MFW Diaries: #4 and I’m 23?!

photoWell hello there πŸ™‚

Where to even begin with this post but…AHHHH!!!

September has been craaaazy to say the least. I am finally sewing on finishing touches to my collection and all the late nights and non-social weekends are coming down to its debut this Saturday. Emotions? A little bit of everything from nervousness to excitement, but, even more, I am beyond ecstatic to see how the Lord will work during this show. He has been so gracious during this experience and I love being able to use the talents He has given me to glorify Him even more as this collection is inspired by Scripture (more on that later) completely dedicated to Christ. There were times where I’ve felt lazy, stressed, and incompetent. “15 pieces?? I could barely sew 7 for my graduation!” But with lots of prayer and faith that definitely seemed as small as a mustard seed, God showed Himself in more ways than one. This song became somewhat of an anthem and gives a whole lot of peace during any challenging time:
Β “Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on you and it is well.
So let go
, my soul
And trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
It is well with my soul.”

It has barely hit me that I am turning 23 this Friday. Yes, it’s my birthday!!!Β So not only am I grateful for this opportunity at MFW, but I am all sorts of thankful for another year. Another year for moves, trust, patience, and continuing to work towards my life’s calling. All the things I’ve encountered and accomplished this year has been a complete blessing and I can only imagine what God has in store next. Ahhh, I love You. #feelingblessed
