And last but not least, I have officially been chosen as one of the designers for Michigan Fashion Week 2014!!! God, You better work. To be honest I was little worried because it has been a couple of weeks since the casting call and I haven’t received an email. That seemed to be the theme this week where I was looking forward to specific responses and all was silent. After mind scenarios and thoughts whizzed through my head, God whispered “Trust Me. Have patience.” Soon after, I received this email. God is faithful!
To be honest (again) nervousness is hitting me. Satan is already attacking. But I’m reminded that this life is not my own, contrary to what the world thinks. God is saying, “Trust in Me with all your heart; don’t lean on your own understanding. Use the skills and talents I have given you. How are you going to show Me to the world?” I am sure I am not the only one out there hit with scariness of the unknown. So I am praying for all you and know that you are not alone. Our God is with us!
“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?”
