FANCIEE clothing presents a New York fashion week inspired event, The Fashion Massacre 5.
April 2014- Detroit, MI- The fashion Massacre celebrates its 5th annual event, Fashion Massacre 5, on Saturday May 3, 2014 from 8pm-11pm at the MOCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit), 4454 Woodward AVE, and Hosted by Ron Dance. Tickets price $20 and everyone is VIP.
The fashion massacre has taken place annually for the past 5 years, showcasing concepts of self expression and individuality. Displaying more creativity to the city of Detroit by offering an atmosphere devoted to individualism by fusing the elements of fashion arts and music. This year’s event will feature 14 designers and stylist. Focusing on the underground fashion culture and brings awareness to Detroit’s many talents. Fashion Massacre gives back to the community by giving designers, models, stylist, MUA and many more, opportunities and a platform to showcase their talents.
“The Fashion Massacre” was created on February 13th, 2009 at Cobo Hall. The show featured young talented fashion designers from the city of Detroit under the age of thirty. The title “The fashion Massacre” originated from the idea “The killing of the runway”. The event was a hit, selling out to 450 guests. With the success of the first show, Show creator and producer Tyna Logan owner of FANCIEE Clothing decided to make the fashion show an annual event. The rest is history.
