Presenting, Marie Antoinette’s bedroom wallpaper from Versailles. Okay not really, but Google that phrase and you’ll get a sense of what I’m talking about. Remember last week’s post “Baroque is the New Stud?” This look is just a testament on how much I am adoring baroque and rococo!

I was a bit hesitant on pairing this bomber jacket and dress together because of the ba-coco overload, but since there’s just a touch of baroque on the jacket on the sleeves there’s still a break of black between the outerwear and dress. Let me also say this jacket was love at first sight. I was in Forever 21 Times Square, eyed it across the store, and flew. Thankfully I purchased it then because I haven’t seen it in the Michigan market! And yes, this A-line dress is the same print as the leggings I wore from the post as well. Bringing baroque and roses together on a pattern was genius; it looks so ornate and festive. Hence, my Christmas Eve ensemble. πŸ™‚

Up next- New Year’s Eve!!!

“I would rather be what God chose to make me than the glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God’s thought, and then made by God is the most dearest, grandest, and most precious thing in all thinking.”
