My First Bridesmaid’s Dress!

IMG_5928 IMG_5921 IMG_5930First of all- I super apologize for the quality of these photos. My camera broke and I had to use a different one and I don’t know how to work it and the lighting was terrible and…yeah. But! I really wanted to share this post with you guys 🙂

Remember when I posted about designing and making a bridesmaid’s dress for a family friend/first client’s brother’s wedding? Well, yards of chiffon and satin (and six seasons of Doctor Who) later, it is finally completed! This past week was the final stretch and though the power went out and my sewing machine broke, God seriously worked even in doubt and discouragement. He blessed me with my neighbor who is also a church friend. She opened up her house and let me use her sewing machine for days. On the final fitting, everything fit. Yay! Then the zipper broke last minute. Of course. Thankfully my neighbor came to the rescue as I fled to her house unannounced and her constant generosity was through the roof. Even through troubles and worry, God will provide you with everything you need some way or another, even if it’s not what you’d expect. His sovereignty overcomes all.

Hopefully I’ll get more photos from the big day itself!

“You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus…” (2 Timothy 2:1)

    1. Hello! Yes, I believe it may be caused by the size of my photos; I didn’t start resizing them until a few months ago. However, there may be more causes. Thank you for your interest and comment!
