Dress, tulle cami, leggings: Salvation Army • Leg warmers: Charlotte Russe • Shoes: DSW (Diba) • Accessories: Forever 21

Some early Christmas inspiration for y’all! Just kidding. Thanksgiving’s in six days. What?

Two things I look for when shopping for plaid and flannel: 1) Can it be tied around the waist for that grunge look and still look flattering? 2) Can it actually be worn the way it’s designed to? You’d be surprised how some flannels only fits one or the other. In this case, this red and black thrifted piece is prime; I love the length! I used to associate this fabric with the Brawny paper towel man which was a turn off. Random, I know. Thankfully for leggings, a hint of tulle, and heels, the picture of a guy in the woods with a scruffy beard chopping down trees doesn’t come to mind. Well, I sure hope it doesn’t. Lastly, dear Charlotte Russe, thank you for making some super comfy leg warmers and being the only retail store I can find them at. Sincerely, a girl who is waiting for burgundy ones.
