Black and Orange

Happy [almost] Halloween! Although my family and I don’t celebrate this “holiday” (I’ve only been trick-or-treating once) it’s always fun to see what other people imagine and creatively dress up as! Who or what are you being this year?

Ponchos and oversize shawls for the fall and winter? YES. I found this black and orange aztec print poncho at my favorite SalVal (surprise, surprise) for only $1.99. Ponchos are the bohemian girl’s go-to piece since it excludes any form-fitting silhouette, they’re perfect for layering, and those that are oversized exonerate the perfect Mary-Kate Olsen, the queen of boho chic or “homeless chic” as the industry dubbed her. Just pair it with a knitted scarf, flared jeans, and boots with a chunky heel. Leave your hair down in its bedhead finest, wear some major, round sunnies, and grab your favorite coffee to go to channel your inner Olsen twin. I’m not joking about that coffee, either!

“For you have been my hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth.” (Psalm 71:5)
