Goodbye, Just Jireh!

Yes, “Just Jireh” has officially run its course. It went through a lot- and I mean A LOT- the past three years since its early beginnings on Tumblr. And now, introducing:

Fashion Meets God Promo

Why “Fashion Meets God?”

It’s been no secret that I have a love for fashion and Jesus Christ; I’m so passionate about both actually that I believe God has called me to bridge the two of them together. I’ve been wanting to change “Just Jireh” for a few months now and after watching the movie “Grace Unplugged” and intently listening to Bridgewood Church’s “All In” series, it seemed like a confirmation from the Big Guy above. I was, however, very hesitant on this new title. From a [worldly] marketing and branding perspective I thought people would freak out and gravitate away from it. Then God spoke and said, “Seriously, are you all in or not?! This is the will I have called upon your life- are you really going to ignore it??” Yeah, you don’t say no to that.

New feature: Contribute!

Style shots and faith posts will continue on, but one goal for this blog is to build a community. Apart from the Prayer Requests form, you can now contribute to “Fashion Meets God!” You don’t have to be a blogger to contribute. It can be paragraphs long or a single sentence. If you have something to share about faith, fashion, or both, all you need to do is fill out this contact form. Someone in the world can learn from your story.

I honestly do not know how long and where “Fashion Meets God” will go nor are its intentions to force and shove my beliefs down your throat, but when you’re passionate about something, sometimes you can’t help but to share them with the rest of the world!
