Camo in Cali

Hat, top, shorts, necklace: Salvation Army • Socks: Forever 21 • Boots: Vanity

First day ever in California and I am extremely excited to FINALLY visit The Golden State! Once I hopped off the plane at LAX SAN, the 72 degree F weather was just one of the reasons why I knew this is going to be my future home one day. Not to mention being back in a city filled with all its crowded glory and artistic splendors open for discovery. Within the past three days we have traveled back and forth between San Diego, Corona, and Fontana visiting distant relatives and family friends. As my mom is busy with her college reunion for Mary Johnston, I’ll be exploring the city, camera in hand, and not a clue as to where I’m going. But that’s the beauty in an adventure, right?

1. Decided to bring a little bit of Ortonville with me on the first day! I’ve never been much of a camo girl since I relate it to the killing of innocent animals…but it was $1.99.

2. I’ve been looking for a bright snapback; I almost resulted in buying one from F21 (obviously) but something was telling me to wait. Then there it was, a bright, neon orange, foam-like cap hidden away in an SA.

How was your weekend? Are you ready for another week ahead?

Let’s stay connected on Twitter, shall we? @Just_Jireh

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord when he delights in His way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.” (Psalm 37:24)
