Last Saturday, I had the privilege to go to the Pure Fashion event at Enderun. I was invited thinking that it would just be a normal fashion show, but little did I know that the emphasis was on the word “pure”. I had no idea what it was all about until I checked the website out recently: …
I absolutely, 100% LOVE and ADMIRE this post from Tricia. I honestly wish popular fashion was pure. PURE PURE. But it’s just not. Even for myself some of their guidelines made me scrunch my nose. But this is what Pure Fashion is all about: “Pure Fashion is a faith-based program that encourages teen girls to live, act, and dress in accordance with their dignity as children of God….to become confident, competent leaders who live the virtues of modesty and purity in their schools and communities.”  “Pure Fashion hopes to positively impact the fashion industry by motivating customers to choose clothing and accessories that are fun and fresh, yet modest and respectful of the dignity of the human person.” Truly beautiful.
